This competition is testing your creativity and delivering skills. You can choose a story of your own (complying within the Islamic religious boundaries) to deliver.
Children have an innate love of stories. Stories create magic and a sense of wonder at the world. Stories teach us about life, about ourselves and about others. Storytelling is a unique way for children to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for the emotions, and can promote a positive attitude among them.
Marking criteria:
Marking will be based on the contents and the presentation of their chosen story.
Characters identified and expressed clearly
Actions/acting for various characters
Making it interesting by adding various noise by tapping, clapping or through their voice expression. Cannot use any external equipment.
Only their human body and their garments to be used to produce sounds.
Acquiring and accommodating the audience using various techniques.
